    If you’re like most people, you have pondered now and again where that one sock, that matched only one other sock in your entire wardrobe, went, when both went into the washer but only one came out. My “sock drawer” has been building for years. It had gotten to the point that rather than venture into the drawer to spend 20 minutes to find two same-color/ design socks to wear, I’d begun purchasing new ones. The madness had to stop.     Are you familiar with this saying? I thought it was from a Shakespeare play but I discovered that it’s a song title from a short, animated 1935 comedy/melodrama starring Betty Boop. Betty is the heroine and of course there is a moustache-twirling villain and a dashing hero. Ms. Boop sings the song to the villain after he tries tempting her with a large diamond ring, beautiful fur, etc. Why did I choose this saying for my Blogging from A to Z “N” challenge?     Falling towards Autumn

    Thoughts, memories, remembrances fill my head and squeeze my heart from a crazy year. I’ve been striving to finish one task and then another, racing toward the finish line. Only to find out the line has moved. It’s time to breathe deep and close my mind, allowing the stillness of fall to settle on my ears. So much is happening around us in nature as it prepares to rest.
