    For more than 10 years, I’ve been making jewelry. It started out as a stress reliever from a corporate job in Denver. It has become a relaxing respite that I pick up time and again when I need a creative outlet, or I find some interesting beads. Early on, I made everyone on my Christmas list a necklace or pair of earrings. My hairstylist in Denver let me sell them in her shop which resulted in extra spending money that enabled me to purchase more interesting beads.     “U”nique things

    I attended an Earth Day celebration at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind., and bought this unique, old pin from one of the vendors. He was donating a percentage to breast cancer and he had several really cool ones. His wife had the business with him until she recently passed away. The pins are vintage (he said 30s and it does have a “c” clasp on the back. Could also be from the 60s or 70s based on my research). Even if it’s not ancient, it’s unique in it’s shape, choice of stones and Celtic design. The bar through the middle represents a Scottish walking stick and the wreath includes the infinity symbol.…
