#CTST: garage sale finds and also interacting with interesting people while shopping in neighborhoods! Here are a few tips I’ve picked up during my yard sale exploits. Do you care to share any of yours? 1. Choose to yard sale in an area that is more upscale that your own. However, there are exceptions. I found a Canon camera lens at a garage sale on the side of a highway. You never know. 2. Selection is better earlier in the morning. A to Z Challenge: “Y”ummy recipes, Yummly™ website!
Several years ago I discovered Yummly™. It’s a website for tasty, easy-to-make recipes. I created a user name and password and then I was off – tagging recipes to add to my Recipe Box online. Warning – the photos will have your stomach growling with hunger in no time! Yummly aggregates recipes from multiple online sources. It has an intuitive search capability that allows me to look for the perfect recipe, based on ingredients I have on-hand or by holiday, cuisine, taste, diet, nutrition, allergy, cook time and even technique.
